South Central Kansas Kennel Club
FALL
OBEDIENCE CLASSES WILL START OCTOBER 13, 2009 The South Central Kansas Kennel Club
was formed in 1968. We are a small, but active club. We welcome
new members, whether they have pure bred or mixed breed dogs. Our
meetings are generally held at the Winfield Fairgrounds in Winfield, Kansas
on the fourth Monday of the month. Our members are involved in many
different aspects of the dog world. Some show in conformation events,
others in obedience and agility trials. We also have members who are
involved in lure coursing, drafting, hunt tests, tracking, and Search and
Rescue. Twice a year we offer obedience
classes to the public. Classes range from puppy kindergarten and
beginning obedience up through advanced classes for those who are working on
Obedience Titles. We have recently purchased equipment for the new AKC
class of Rally Obedience and will be offering Rally course run
throughs. Classes are open to any breed of dog, 3 months or older. We also hold Fun Matches and Show 'n
Go's during the year. These are always a lot of fun and are good
practice for those who are getting ready to enter their dogs in Conformation
shows and Obedience Trials. For more information about our club
